Ways to Keep Involved
top ↑Fellowship
One of the essential features of being at Grace Harbor is fellowship. Making friends, meeting new people, getting to know each other and spending time together are all part of that experience. One of our core values as an extended Christian family is to be a safe harbor; a positive, wholesome, meaningful and encouraging place and a people that glorifies God by the way we relate with each other. We indeed are the family of God together.
top ↑Worship
God deserves and desires our best. One of the most inspiring and meaningful experiences of our lives is worship. We must exalt and praise Him because He is the audience of our worship. Everything we do when we get together as the family of God to lift Him up should be about Him, for Him and glorifying Him. Every aspect of worship; the music, creative expression and the sharing of the truth done in such a way that it draws us closer and closer to God. Worship is an integral part of who we are and of our love for the Lord and should always be rich, memorable and focused on Him.
top ↑Stewardship
In an extremely materialistic culture it is imperative that we strive to be effective and efficient with the precious resources with which God entrusts us. We are all stewards of our time, talents and treasures. Everything, of course, belongs to God; as we care take those resources, we should make a conscious heartfelt effort to manage them for Him. Our time should be His time in a way that allows us to serve Him. Our talents are His talents in us; we should utilize them in ways that glorify Him. Our treasure is also His; we should invest it in ways that promote the Good News of God's Plan.
top ↑Discipleship
Being a maturing believer is a lifelong process. All of us have much to learn and we always are in need of doing whatever we can to continue to grow up in the Lord. Through Bible Study, small groups, mentoring and counseling we can expand our understanding of God's Word and the world we live in and how we can make appropriate applications of His truths to our real lives. Grace Harbor encourages you to pursue God's Will biblically and to discover His purpose for your life by becoming a transformed follower of Christ who is taking measurable steps towards Christian maturity.
top ↑Ambassadorship
We all represent what we believe by everything we do or do not do to one degree or another. That happens both individually and corporately. Together we can accomplish things we could not do alone. Grace Harbor has committed 10% of every dollar given to help those in need and at risk locally, regionally and around the world. We also encourage every person in Grace Harbor to be a beacon of help and concern in his or her neighborhood and community. We represent God's love, mercy, grace and hope as His ambassadors in a needy world. Our goal is to reach out and touch the real lives of real people everywhere.
